Ready & Able brings 20 years of experience across various settings including special education, supported living services, and vocational coaching. We offer a wide skill set to address a variety of goals, emboldening individuals to grow their sense of ownership and live life with self-determination. Ready & Able delivers a straightforward coaching approach with high expectations, humor, and heart.
Ready & Able provides small group instruction through Connection Clubs. This cultivates a fun and supportive team building approach to learning. Unlike traditional academic models with a fixed roadmap, content and direction are determined by participants and their current stage in the independence journey. We’ll focus on topics related to independent living, social skills, and open-floor discussions about shared interests. Connect with peers while connecting the dots of adult life!

Build consistent and thorough personal hygiene routines, learn the importance of making healthy food choices, follow a regular sleep schedule, and establish physical movement and mindfulness habits for overall well-being.
Maintain regular and essential home care practices such as cleaning, organization, and light maintenance to ensure a safe and sanitary living environment.
Time, Schedules, & Preparation
Acquire skills to efficiently manage daily schedules, activities, and appointments. Increase understanding of the importance of time awareness, preparation, and punctuality.
Finance Foundations
Improve financial literacy, decision making, and money management skills. From budgeting the cost of going out to dinner to paying rent. Monitor your own cash flow and also recognize the financial support you may currently rely on.
Employment Exploration
Find purpose through the pursuit of a professional passion or just learn what it takes to earn a paycheck. Explore job interests, research opportunities, and discuss workplace etiquette and expectations.
Connection Clubs offer participants instruction and guidance with navigating the seemingly simple, yet often complex dynamics of the social world. Learn effective strategies for establishing connections and understanding boundaries in a variety of relationships, all in a safe and supported atmosphere.
